What this tool can access
This tool only needs read access. Create a HubSpot private app and grant only these scopes:
automationsettings.users.read
Optional: granting account-info.security.read as well enables the “Open in HubSpot” links in your results. Without it, the tool still works — you just won’t get clickable links to each workflow.
Read-only means this tool can look at your data but cannot change, delete, or move anything. If your key has broader access than the scopes above, the tool still works — but you’re handing it more than it needs. Scope it down.
